Personalities and Behaviors
Verdemi are calm and carefree creatures. They live under the protection of a herd until they have grown strong enough to fight with their elders.
They are quite intelligent as well, being able to memorize routes and a list of tasks without feeling overwhelmed.
History and Culture
Being a recently discovered creature, Verdemi does not have a long history of interacting with humans.
Abilities
Despite their seemingly small build and unimpossibing demeanor, Verdemi are powerful and tenacious. Their thick, earthy skin withstand many attacks from predator before becoming tired.
Verdemi has a rare trait among Earth Element monsters: a resistance to Nature Element magic. It is believe the cause is their evolution in the thick jungle and their exclusive herbivorous diet.
Ecology
Exclusively found on a remote tropical island, Verdemi are incredibly creatures to find in the wild. Their green skin allows them to be camouflaged in the jungle, hidden and living without fear of predators.
Diet
Verdemi are strictly herbivores and they can be quite picky about their diet. These creatures prefer tropical leaves and they will refuse to eat other greenery outside of times of hardship.
